The Whiskey Bar

A sophisticated yet relaxed hideaway, the Whiskey Bar offers exclusive table service and a premium atmosphere for smaller gatherings. With seating for up to 35 guests (or 50 standing), it’s perfect for tastings, birthdays, and corporate catch-ups. Enjoy private access while staying connected to the buzz of the public bar.

Tucked within the public bar, the Lounge offers a semi-private space with a large stage and 150-inch TV — ideal for intimate gatherings, private screenings, or milestone celebrations.

Our experienced team will work with you to tailor food and beverage packages, from hearty Irish classics to elegant canapés and curated drink lists featuring Guinness on tap, boutique wines, and premium whiskies.

  • Yes. The Carriage Bar can be hired on its own as a private event space, or with the Verandah as the Carriage Bar Quarter. The Whiskey Bar and the Lounge sit within the public bar, so they are semi-private rather than exclusive.

  • Yes to all three, plus your own playlist. Gear cannot be left at the venue overnight.

  • Yes, we cater to dietary requirements. Please mention this request in your event enquiry.

  • There is a public car park under the Metropole off Canterbury Road.
